The DIATECH Crown and Bridge Preparation Kit comes with 7 different diamond burs with FG-shanks and a stand. The DIATECH Diamond instruments have a uniform coverage of diamond on different levels. New diamond grits with sharp edges will be exposed for use as the outer layer wears. The Topspin design diamond provides cool, rapid gross reduction producing a distinct chamfer margin. The coarse, round diamond is for lingual/ palatinal reduction. The occlusal reduction barrel diamond is to reduce the occlusal of posterior restorations. The coarse cylinder will give a 1.5mm deep chamfer margin, ideal for ceramic restorations. The beveled cylinders, supercoarse diamonds yield a 145° beveled margin which is desirable for both anterior and posterior margins. The 45 micron diamond refines and smoothes the finish line and overall preparation.
